Numerical characterization for interval inequalities: properties and applications

A numerical characterization for interval inequalities is offered. Some properties of this characterization are derived, one of which is a comparison with probability measure for interval inequality. Usefulness of the characterization is demonstrated on some interval applications, such as interval-valued function minimization, interval linear programming, and interval matrix games.
