One dimensional heat wave in inviscid gas

A system of nonlinear PDE governing 1D symmetric flows of the heat conductive inviscid gas is considered. Plane heat wave solution is constructed provided that the propagation law of its front into a cold homogeneous and quiescent gas is given. Solution is constructed in the form of infinite convergent series in the neighborhood of the front. Gasdynamic parameters have infinite gradients at the front, however the heat flux is continuous and equal to zero. It is shown that the constructed solution is a wave of compression.
