Numerical experiments on model error estimation in a problem of a passive pollution concentration data assimilation
An error estimation algorithm for a problem of advection and diffusion of a passive pollution in data assimilation procedure is proposed. Results of the experiments have shown the applicability of the proposed algorithm to the problem of a passive pollution data assimilation. Properties of the algorithm are tested with the help of numerical experiments with the model data.
