Hydrostatic approach in numeric modelling of wind flows in stratified water reservoirs by splitting-up method

Considered here is a numeric algorithm for solving the equations of an incompressible stratified fluid in the hydrostatic approximation, which is based on the splitting method. Results of calculations based on hydrostatic and none hydrostatic models are compared.
