Simulation of hazard and damage from floods on the basis of fuzzy sets

An estimation method for the status of a hydrotechnical object and coast prone to floods of different origin is proposed using the fuzzy sets theory. On the basis of regression data simulations the models with the prescribed membership function are constructed. Results of the regression modelling of the investigated data are suitable for a construction of prognostic models of probable hazard and expected damage due to the floods in the framework of expert intelligence systems.
