Theoretical investigation of the Bookstack test features
The theoretical investigation of the "Bookstack" test is carrying out in this paper. It is shown that for the wide class of alternative hypothesizes this test can check samples when their size is O(S1/2), where S is the length of the alphabet which produces the sample. The sample size becomes the crucial factor when S is rather large. Many other tests, for example chi-square test, are not applicable in such cases because they require samples of the O(S) size.
