Iteration-interpolation method for solving the three-dimensional wave equation

A numerical algorithm for solving the 3D wave equation based on an iteration-interpolation method is developed. The obtained scheme is absolutely stable. The scheme provides the second order approximation in time and space. Convergence of the scheme is examined and the results of the test calculation is presented.
