Informational-computational system for studies of the atmospheric boundary layer

The results obtained during the first stage of implementation of the informational-computational system are presented. The mesoscale MM5 model is a basis for the system. MM5 is oriented on the digital weather forecast and it is employed for a study of the mesoscale convective systems, heat islands in the cities, etc. User interfaces of this system are described. The interfaces allow a user to vary the input data, to perform calculations on the cluster and to present the results in a graphical format.
