Реферат: eng: We discuss the application of a functional sensitivity theory to the problem of calculating of how the satellite IR-hyperspectrometer readings respond to variations in atmospheric gas composition. The differential sensitivity coefficients of the instrument channels readings are introduced, and their relation to the variations of functional under investigation is shown. Expressions of differential sensitivity coefficients of the instrument channels readings to variations in the density of the gas being studied have been obtained.
