Equivalence of linear partial differential equations and Euler-Darboux transformations
An equivalence relation on the class of linear partial differential equations is introduced. The equivalence is defined by means of linear differential operators. We prove that the Euler-Darboux transformations generate the equivalence relation on a certain class of equations. A superposition formula was found for the Euler-Darboux transformations. The Darboux and Schrodinger equations were considered as applications of the proposed method.
