Modeling of carbon balance of peatland ecosystems at various scenarios of climate change

CO2 and CH4 emission fluxes and net primary biological production was estimated for different peatland ecosystems. A local model of the carbon cycle in peatland ecosystems accounting for accumulation of carbon in vegetation and peat deposit was developed. A forecast of development of peatland ecosystems in the south taiga is provided for various scenarios of climate change.
