Mathematical simulation of magnetospheric evens and their influence on the Earth's atmosphere

Mathematical models for the processes of electric field generation in the Earth's magnetosphere are described. Oscillations of the current sheet in a magnetospheric tail appearing due to gradients of the magnetic fields are studied. A model of the electric currents in the atmosphere is proposed that includes the current closure via the ionosphere.
