Numerical simulation of behaviour of granular medium in vibrating containers
A mathematical model for behaviour of a granular medium is proposed. Granules are modeled as regularly shaped rigid bodies covered by elastic shells. It allows describing their interaction and movement over sufficiently large time interval.
