The ground deformations analysis of the incoherent bottom of the channel in lower hydrosite bief

The 1D problem for deformation of a sandy beach in the flow downstream a power station was formulated without phenomenological parameters . The problem is formulated within the frame of one-dimensional transient process due to the stream runup on the bottom of the channel. A comparison of the numerical solutions with experimental data and calculations of other authors was carried out. It is shown that the main reason for slowing down the rate of erosion of the bottom of the channel is the increase of depth in the eroded part of the channel.
