On some problems of construction of two-dimensional difference schemes on moving grids

The general problems, arising at adaptive grid generation and construction of difference schemes on moving grids, are discussed using the example of the predictor-corrector scheme for the linear transport equation with variable coefficients, which is a model equation for testing the algorithms for numerical modelling of two-dimensional incompressible fluid flows.
