Numerical research of the impact of water on the cylindrical

This paper describes numerical method for the analysis of water impact of the thin cylindrical elastic shells. The problem definition is considered in two-dimensional way. The numerical method is suggested for the solution of this problem. Measured and calculated values show good correlations, showing this method can be an useful tool.
