Реферат: eng: A recently suggested method for evaluating computer performance is applied to real processors. The method is based on notion of Computer Capacity, which is determined only by the computer architecture and can be computed theoretically on the design stage. The computer capacity for different Intel and AMD processors is calculated and the results are compared with those of widely recognized benchmarks. The obtained results show that computer capacity is a reasonable estimate of computer performance. © 2017 World Scientific Publishing Company.
